As I mentioned in a previous blog, locals and visitors alike are invited to enjoy the abundance of creative talent Sonoma County has to offer by visiting working professional studios of the Sonoma County Art Trails 10am to 5pm daily on October 8, 9, 15 and 16, 2016.
The event is sponsored by the Sebastopol Center for the Arts, one of the most vibrant art organizations in Northern California. The gallery, open year round, was voted “Best Gallery in Sonoma County” for the last four years.
The good news: After the Open Studio weekends, you can still visit other studios along the trails by setting up an appointment with the specific artist you want to meet. Pick up a copy of the Art Trails catalog, a year-round guide to local artists and businesses.
The mission of the Sonoma County Art Trails is to provide a unique opportunity for the public to meet artists in their working environments, learn about their processes, and purchase fine arts and crafts. The program is intended for established and emerging artists who are actively producing high quality work meeting the program’s selection criteria. The program provides an educational experience for all ages, and fosters interest and greater understanding of artistic processes.
Art is a significant asset to our Sonoma County lifestyle and the Art Trails offer the perfect opportunity to see the quality and diversity of art created in our county. Here are directions to Sebastopol Center for the Arts. Download the 2016 Catalog
